W3 School.com is a great place to learn about the ins and outs of web design. The Bloger Knowledge Base is good too. If you come across a site you like, in Internet Explorer, right click anywhere on the page but a picture, and click on 'View Source'. This will display the page in it's code form. This is a great way to figure out what it all means.
