i have had an unexpected and horrible bout of homesickness today. It came from absolute nowhere. i moved to b.c. from toronto 13 years ago this september. i remember the first few years i would get homesick for my family but not really for toronto. But today, it was all toronto.
i miss the sound of the streetcars, the subway, the humidity, high park, bloor west village, queen street, the green mango, the c.n.e., my cottage, going out to dinner with my sisters, and just everything, toronto.
i'm feeling better.

I'm happy to hear you feel better. When ever you get homesick , go for a long walk around water and it always brings you back home , no matter where your roots maybe.
