i couldn't really tell because that SONG! is so insane. where are the oompa loompas? i hope it's going to be good because that was my favourite book when i was a kid. i can't see how it could be as good as the first movie though.
First of all it took me for frickin ever to download the trailer (i think it was close to an hour). Also, i've never seen the whole movie before. I came the closest about two years ago but it was on really late and i fell asleep during the last half hour. With that said it looks like it might be okay, they have obviously changed a couple of things and modernized it. I'm hoping it will be good. We'll go check it out when it comes to town. Poppy
Johnny Depp just looks plain creepy to me though. The false teeth, the glasses and the way he's moving his mouth reminds me of a nightmare I had once. A little bit of Cojo from Entertainment Tonight mixed with a transvestite and a dash of Malcolm McDowell in A Clockwork Orange.
I guess we'll see how it turns out soon enough. It's one of my favourite books as well.

I like it, can't wait to see the film. The song is a bit infectious isn't it? I can't get it out of my head.
I'm sure it will be interesting and colourful.
