Zoom Cancelled

One of the only TV shows that I don't mind my kids watching just got cancelled.

A show that encourages children to volunteer in their community, to enjoy reading, to cook, to dance, to enjoy life, to sing, to create their own games and science experiments and to actually communicate with each other just got cancelled?!? I don't get it.

I can't tell you how hard it is to find anything on TV for a 9 year old that isn't totally obnoxious, loud, violent, negative or just plain annoying. Don't even get me started on the shows that casually use words like: stupid, idiot and loser.

Apparently PBS says they can't compete with the likes of Nickelodeon. Well, why do they have to? Isn't PBS publicly funded educational television? I would think that they would want to offer children an alternative to Nickelodeon not try and compete with it!

If you are interested at all in trying to save this great show, please send an email here. Just use the scroll bar to find ZOOM.
Thanks so much,
Jody

Thanks you guys.

It's so sweet of you to mail PBS even though ZOOM isn't shown in your area. Very sweet.

There are quite a few shows that are stimulating and educational for my 5 year old but they are harder to find for the 9-12 age group.

People wonder why (some) pre teens are so obnoxious and rude. Look what they're being fed.

Thank you all for letting me rant.
