
Five thousand floating paper lanterns fill the sky over the Andaman Sea in remembrance of tsunami victims during the one-year Indian Ocean tsunami anniversary in Khao Lak, Thailand's Phang Nga province.
Thousands of locals and foreigners gathered in southern Thailand to commemorate the December 26, 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, which killed more than 230,000.

Those paper laterns are so beautiful, they give goosebumps. I can't believe it's been a year.
I can't believe it's been a year either.
It's still so shocking.
It's good to be optimistic but I know that in Sri Lanka 90% of the homes have still yet to be built.
