I would have felt 10x worse if Peggy Nash and Olivia Chow didn't get in, but now I live in an NDP riding.
Happy about that, but I felt so surreal this morning, thinking that we will have a Prime Minister who actually wants to make abortions illegal, take money away from our poorest citizens and supports the Americans and their endless war.
So disappointing. I can't believe it. At least it's only a minority government and the opposition is more socially progressive than Harper's crew. That being said, it still sucks big time.
I think this could be a functional parliament, so it'll be interesting to see what gets done. I'll take a minority any day over a majority, regardless of party.
I'm happy that in our riding Alex Atamanenko NDP got elected and it is a minirity government but Stephen Harper is going to be the Prime Minister of Canada for Fuck's Sake and there is just nothing good about that. (In My Humble Opinion)
