I didn't have to ride the subway until I was grown up and living in Montreal, dealing with claustrophobia on the Metro every day, and never going without a flashlight in my purse, no kidding. But Toronto! jeezus, thank goodness someone warned me not to lean against the trackside doors - they open accidently and suddenly any old time! Brave little kid you were!
