While I was in Walmart today (don't you look at me like that, we don't have much choice considering where we live) they were playing Nirvana's Pennyroyal Tea.
It sounded so out of place, especially since they refused to sell In Utero when it was released because it had a fetus on the cover.
And that concludes this Useless Piece of Info.

you know, i really appreciate this. it's eerie, but i had an 'urghh...i'm going to have to go to walmart' moment today. it's near christmas, right and everything is tight and sometimes there is no where else to go.
i curse the place in my dreams, so call me a hypocrite.
anyway, i think that hearing that song inside of a walmart, seeing as the experience of walmart is surreal enough on its own, would be like the clockwork orange soundtrack (you know what i'm talking about...i hope).
I totally know what you're talking about sister.
oooh I LOVE useless pieces of information - this one was like a vignette; I could just see you going "whoa, that's weird!"
I'm going to do a post on all the useless info I get psychically - tons, and rarely is it of any practical personal use.
I'll look forward to it.
