Hi Jody,
It seems like the time around New Year has become so intense these last few years. The world just seems to be crying out more and more. Terrorism, warfare, new diseases and natural disasters that are more and bigger than ever. In 1977 a friend said to me we are living in very intense times (I agreed then too but huh? - the 70’s were idyllic in comparison). I think as a species we are spiritually required to learn compassion and we’re not getting it so the message just keeps being delivered with more and more blatant force. Too bad the world is so full of idiots.
I take comfort from many sources but consistently it’s the comedians who nail it. George Carlin says:
“People are either stupid or they are full of shit. If they’re not stupid or full of shit - (long pause) then they’re FUCKING NUTS!!!”
Can I e-mail you directly re blogging?? Up for discussion - I want to incorporate my rants on my photoblog cause I hope it will make me feel better and wanted to talk about that with you.
Naomi said you supported me regarding the recent incident at the doctor’s office with my father. Thanks so much. If like-minded people can do public relations, so to speak, regarding SANE TRUTH - what a beautiful thing!
Recent Taurus (Naomi & myself are both Taurus) horoscope via Free Will Astrology suggests : becoming “RADICAL TRUTH-TELLERS” saying “This source of power might help you stay alert for and immune to the elevated levels of bullshit you'll be called on to fend off in 2005”
Well, I would like to do it in a more productive and less personally damaging way than my recent run-ins with fools. I’ve tried to keep my blog rosey & positive in the past cause sometimes I feel ashamed of my anger even though upon examination it is aimed at all the idiotic things in the world. Now, though, I want to feel clear cause I know the lunacy doesn’t stem from me but from the power factions throughout the world and the seeming multitudes of control-freaks in my personal realm.
Blogs are a wonderful thing and thanks for letting me know your address. Is there a limit on the size of responses? Posting annonymously here cause Blogger account page isn't working.
