The Day After...

We had a lovely Christmas.
It couldn't have been more enjoyable or relaxing.
I swear I am just starting to digest my turkey dinner.

Highlights:

Watching the wee ones open their presents. The look on their faces when they first saw their "hockey table" in the basement was truly priceless. Putting it together was not a highlight. (sorry sweetie, I bailed after 20 minutes)

The mini- casserole dish my hubby made especially for me as well as the most beautiful necklace that took him hours to make. Pictures will definitely be posted.

Silk longjohns!

Not drying out the turkey.

Eating potatoes Romanoff with my pesto biscuits. Yum yum!

Spending the entire day with the people I love most.

Merry, merry Christmas! I missed your potatoes like you could never imagine.

I'm glad you had fun (and you didn't have to set up that hockey table) - thanks santa!

I'm SO GLAD you've finally been baptized into the Church of Silk Longjohns! (I'm clinging to the shreds of 3 pairs of bottoms - or they're clinging to me - they're so holey [HAHAHA] I wear 2 at once and hope the runs are in different places!) Life is So Good in Silk.

I don't know how I lived without them for as long as I did. They are truly warm and so comfortable.

I understand the shredding of the silk lingjohns since I destroyed Martin's by putting them in the drier. Oops.

Didn't you have a similar experience but with a wood burning stove?
